Concerned Neighbor
I believe that an effective council member listens to the residents concerns, ideas and
vision for the future. TCDIII provides a unique opportunity for residents to get involved
in defining the future and direction of Downers Grove for the next 20 years. By means of
group meetings, dialogue, surveys and technology residents can offer opinions as to what
works and what does not. What could be changed, and what should be changed. How they want
their community to look and what services they want provided. They can help define the
direction we take to make Downers Grove a better place to live, work and raise a family.
I would encourage all residents to be part of this exciting project. Everyone has an
idea as to how to make Downers Grove a better community, share those ideas and make
this a more vibrant place to live.
Your input is invaluable to me as a council member, and if re-elected I will work hard
to ensure that many of these ideas become a reality. I have been told that one of my
strengths and what makes me different is that residents sense that I truly care about
them and that I will go to lengths to work with them to solve a problem. I would love
to work with you to shape our futures.
